hi friends
now we have a nice big lot
i will talk about chess like i promised
chess i am nice game
I am sure all people thing that chess requires brain
but honestly it has more to do with memory than thinking
anyway
presently MTel Masters chess competition is going on in bulgaria
Like in tennis we have big competition like french open, US open ect..
similarly we have in chess
eg Linnares, Amber, corus etc etc
MTel masters is a new tournament
And this big because 6 top players out of the top 10 are playing
Vishy Anand (presently No- 2) but with Kasparov after taking retirement he is number one...
Anand is number one for all aspect
Yet this tournament can be taken as a fight for who is Number one
so we have 6 people
1. Anand - rank 2
2. Topalov - rank 3
3. Kramnik- Rank 4
4. Polgar - Ladies Rank 1 overall somewhere in top 10
5- Adams - he is also in top 10
6 Pomanamario - he is a young player topped Fide championship 2 yr ago also in top 10 ( if i am not wrong)
Anyway
why i am writing this post
I am sure all people know about chess
Queen is most important
So yesterday was the first match between Anand and topalov
They played the game and moves were exactly like they played in linnaris the last time they met..
in that topalov made a mistake in the 15 move and he lost to anand
so he played the same game ( obviously he must have noticed his mistake and so he was playing again the same game)
so he played the correct move in the 15 turn
then few moves later anand sacrificed his queen....
normally if i give a queen for a Knight then i made a mistake
but when a rank 2 person gives his queen then it means that he is setting up a trap
topalov took a lot of time
and took the queen..
but then 20 moves later topalov even after having a queen was struggling
and fought back for a draw...
no one has ever given a queen ( except bobby fisher when he was 15 yrs old and he won the game 3 moves later.. in that game)... so every one is studying the game what did anand see which no one had see...
this is new from today
i will cover the whole tournament if u like this post
